Global Perspectives in Research on the Ethical, Legal and Social Implications of Human Genome Research

May 1-3, 2008

The Center for Genetic Research Ethics and Law at Case Western Reserve University will be hosting the first international congress for the Ethical, Legal and Social Implications (ELSI) of Human Genomics researchers.  This conference will examine the challenge of “translating” ethical, legal and social implications (ELSI) of human genomics research, both across cultures & disciplines, and into practical recommendations for scientists & policy-makers.  Abstracts of 500 words about your research for consideration towards plenary or poster presentation can be posted at http://www.cgreal.org/elsi.
