Rebecca Walker has been granted Departmental support for a sabbatical leave in the Fall of 2013, when she will be working on her book on using virtue theory as an approach to issues in animal research ethics. Rebecca also won a Messerli Foundation travel award to pursue this topic with colleagues in Zurich and at the Messerli Research Institute at the University of Veterinary Medicine, Vienna.
