Oak Ritchie, MSIS, has worked in media for over 16 years on projects on major motion pictures, music projects, and documentary film. His research area focuses around web technologies, how messages are transmitted through them, and their influence on social behaviors. He currently serves as Public Communications Specialist for the UNC Center for Bioethics as well as the UNC Center for Health Equity Research. His role as Communications Specialist is to make the current projects, publications, and objectives of the Centers more visible on the web to maximize on potential collaboration and consultation with other institutions.
