New Lancet Correspondence from Arlene Davis and Co-Authors

Arlene Davis is a co-author, with Heidi Davis and Alex Toledo, on a new correspondence piece out in The Lancet.

The authors are working on the physician section of the Lancet Commission on the Emotional Determinants of Health project.

“Medical training: emotions, empathy, and belonging” previews the commission’s consideration of shifts in medical education toward encouraging empathy. The letter also calls for “listening and acting now” on changes needed to continue this shift.
