ERIN CLARK, DO – PEDIATRICS
Erin Clark is completing pediatric residency and the Clinical Ethics Certificate program this June. While participating in the program, she utilized the popular TV show, The Pitt, to teach residents, medical students, and undergraduate students about clinical ethics. In addition, a submission she wrote will be published in the Journal of Narrative Inquiry of Bioethics this summer. She will be starting her neonatology fellowship at Colorado Children’s Hospital in July.
JEN SPIEGEL, MD – PEDIATRICS
During Jen Spiegel’s residency, she had the opportunity to participate in the Clinical Ethics Certificate program, which included hospital-wide consultations, ethics conferences, and educational activities. As a physician, she found the program so helpful in teaching her how to objectively apply ethical frameworks and consider different approaches to providing safe, high-quality care to her patients. She will be staying at UNC for the next step of her training, and she will start a Pediatric Critical Care (PICU) fellowship in July.
