THE “CADAVER” ORGAN DONATION PROBLEM

Organ transplantation is typically a life-saving procedure. However, it can be shown that so-called “cadaver” organ donors are not cadavers at all. It follows that such organ donation involves killing an innocent human being. This is certainly a problem. I suggest that possible solutions to this problem can be discovered (surprise!) by attention to discussions of abortion ethics.
