Erin is a resident in the UNC Pediatrics’ Program. She is a graduate of The University of Notre Dame where she majored in Biological Sciences and Psychology, participating in bench research and hospital volunteer work. She then went on to work at Epic as an expert in MyChart, their patient facing application. Following Epic, she worked for two years as a clinical research coordinator for Lahey Hospital’s Neurology Department. She graduated from The University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2023 with honors. Although she has never worked in the ethics sphere, her clinical and personal experiences have led her to become a passionate advocate for medical ethics. She is particularly interested in the treatment of patients with mental health conditions, racial disparities in medicine, and life sustaining treatments in the ICU setting. In her free time, Erin is a fierce competitor in intermural sports like soccer and basketball, a collector of vinyl records, and an avid reader.
