Rohit Jaswaney is a resident in the UNC Pediatric’s Program. He is a graduate of New York Medical College. Rohit has been a research collaborator with UNC’s Center for Bioethics and the Department of Social Medicine since the summer of 2017. He has participated in Center research projects and published on topics including teaching residents through simulation and restrictions on visitors during times of pandemic. Rohit received his bachelor’s degree in Biology at Washington University in St. Louis. Afterward, he completed a service year with the City Year AmeriCorps program in Washington DC for one year and developed interests in the social determinants of health and education. Rohit’s research interests include policy development and review, challenging race-based associations in medicine, and medical education reform. In his free time, Rohit collects vinyl records and enjoys cooking.
