Schuyler is an internal medicine resident and an alumnus of both the UNC School of Medicine and Duke Divinity School where he concentrated in theology and ethics as a Theology, Medicine and Culture Fellow. After training he hopes to practice palliative cardiology and is interested in incorporating narrative and virtue ethics into the everyday practice of medicine. He also has explored how diverging conceptions of anthropology and politics shape the modern practice of medicine. In his free time, he enjoys growing alongside his daughters, reading, running, and spending time at the table with good food, good friends, and good conversation.
