Join us for a discussion and book celebration with our own Mara Buchbinder (UNC Social Medicine, Anthropology, and Center for Bioethics). We will be discussing Mara’s new book, Scripting Death: Stories of Assisted Dying in America (UC Press, 2021). If unable to read the book in full, Mara suggests reading Chapters 2 and 6, and the Introduction if you have time. Copies of the book have been sent to folks who RSVP’d.
