Health care (e.g., surgery) and public health (e.g., vaccinations) contribute to an individual’s health in very different ways. This lecture investigates the significance of this difference for a human right to health.
Dr. Gopal Sreenivasan is the Crown University Professor in Ethics at Duke University. His primary research interests are in moral and political philosophy, with particular interests in moral psychology and bioethics. He is a leading scholar in the area of health justice, focusing on the right to health.
